“It was lovely to see The Temple buzzing with music, poetry and life! Many thanks to all who contributed, with music, cakes, time, craft and decoration materials. We are lucky to have such huge and generous local talent to draw on. Through the day, we had 89 children and 249 adults through the door. We made a profit of more than £350, of which we donated half to Epping Forest. The rest will be used by the Friends to fund its work on behalf of the park”.

“We hope this will be the first of a series of events over the coming year. We’d like to make this beautiful, historic building more fully used and appreciated by the local community. Happy Christmas to all!”
